Returning Parcels to Amazon

How to return your parcels to Amazon.com

Amazon have a clear ‘Returns Policy’ on their website. The main points to consider when returning parcels to Amazon.com are the following;

  • Use the Amazon Online Returns Centre to help you process your return.
  • Wherever possible, use the Amazon packaging that the items were delivered in (remembering that you’ll need to make sure it’s very secure).  If you don’t have the original box, include the name of the person who ordered the item and the order number on the outside of the box.
  • Amazon will pay the cost of return delivery if your return is due to an Amazon.co.uk error. Otherwise, they will deduct the cost of return delivery from the amount of your order.
  • Alternatively, you can choose to return the items at your own cost. You still need to print the label and include it in the box.

Package Your Item Securely

As with all parcel deliveries, please make sure that the packaging is secure and strong, both inside and outside the box. We recommend that you always use a trackable delivery service.
